Plain and Modest
Our goal is to provide plain, modest garments for our conservative Christian customers around the globe who seek to live AND dress separated from the immodest and vain fashions of this world.

The market for these types of garments grows more and more everyday as families turn their hearts to God and desire a more simple lifestyle. The chances of finding any decent, modest clothing at department stores grows less and less, leaving these families, particularly the Mothers and Daughters, unable to purchase clothing they can feel both comfortable and modest in.
We strive to make dresses that are both completely modest and comfortable enough to be worn everyday!

We would also like to share.....

We believe, in the spirit of Titus 2, that it is the Lord's best for us to be keeper at home and to make as much of what our families need as possible. The ability to make one's own clothes is an important skill to have for yourself and your family.

If you have not yet tackled this area, I would encourage you to check out our how-to page on my family's site. Here's the link below:

Patterns

A lot of the patterns for the items made by Tabitha's were developed by my Mother out of necessity using many different styles and patterns. They are all basic designs to create both modest and "wearable" dresses, aprons and so forth.

We are not currently offering patterns for sale to the public.
However, I would recommend this site if you are interested in purchasing plain clothing patterns.

Fabric and Materials
Our items are made from many different types of fabrics, but we strive to purchase only good quality fabrics, suitable for their particular fuction.

Dresses and aprons are generally made from a poly/cotton blend, which we find stands up well to everyday use and does not wrinkle to the extent that 100 % cotton does.

* Specialty fabrics maybe available upon request but will increase cost.
